Renewable energy is a significant growth business for SRG. SRG Renewables exists to service and promote this growing need.
The division's remit is to lower the Group's carbon footprint, develop renewable energy projects and actively support the drive for a green future for coal. The renewables business is primarily focused on wind energy, bio energy, waste to energy and carbon management.
Our land base and relationships with generators, regulators and local authorities give us a strong opportunity to develop renewables. At the same time, UK and Scottish government policy actively supports our drive into the Renewables sector.
