Andrew Foster
Managing Director of Scottish Coal
Andrew is a civil engineer and senior coal industry manager with UK and overseas experience. Following a long association with Scottish Coal, he was appointed Managing Director of Scottish Coal and Castlebridge Plant in 2006.
Andrew has held engineering and management roles in several companies in both the deep and surface mining industries with Scottish Coal, Coal Contractors Ltd and Parkhill Estates Ltd. He has significant experience in project development, mine management, site restoration, and coal asset acquisitions.
Rod Mathers
Group Finance Director
Rod is a chartered accountant with wide commercial and financial experience in industry and the accounting profession in the UK and Australia. Prior to joining SRG in October 2010 Rod was Chief Commercial Officer for an ASX listed company involved in the provision of engineering services to mining and other companies throughout Australasia, Europe and the US.
Rod was previously a Director of a private equity business and Chairman of one of its investee companies. He has extensive corporate finance experience as founding Partner of a leading mid-sized accounting firm's central belt practise and senior member of a Big 4 corporate finance team.
